Our first major fundraiser for the year and open to our community. Held November 9th at the Country Club of Cocoa Beach from 6-9 PM. There will be BINGO, a silent auction, and multiple raffles. Come enjoy food, company, try to win a prize, and do a little Christmas shopping. The auction benefits our designated fundraiser for the year.
Pumpkin Patch Fundraiser
We have partnered with our local church to bring you some fall. Come join us at the United Methodist Church of Cocoa Beach from October 15th to 31st to get your best pumpkin. Our volunteers will be donating 2 hour blocks of time to sell pumpkins. In turn, we share the profit with our church to benefit our school.
Jingle Bell Shop
The PTO operates a little store in one of the empty rooms at school for kids to do some holiday shopping for their loved ones. They are allowed to preview the store’s merchandise and create a list of what they’d like to buy for whom. Then they can come back with their money to purchase the gifts. All items are $2. Proceeds go to families in need. Leftover proceeds go to the designated fundraising for the specific year.
Raise Craze for Kindness
Join our school community for a new kind of fundraiser. This will be held the last two weeks in April and will benefit our designated fundraiser for the year. Kindness matters and we are teaching our kids it does too. Children will create random acts of kindness at home, at school, and in the community, and their efforts will be donated to. You may be challenged to join our team.
Labels for Education
Roosevelt participates in collection of various school rewards found on food labels and household products. Mr. Nutter is a dedicated volunteer who coordinates this effort. Make a difference for the school simply by collecting Box Tops, Coke Rewards, Kellogg’s School Rewards, Tyson A+ Labels, etc. Every bit counts – please collect labels and return to your child’s teacher or the designated bins outside the library.
