Technology Replacement


Thank you to our community again for donating and helping to build our playground. As most of you know, the ribbon was cut in August for our brand-new playground that our children absolutely love and adore! Now, a new fundraiser has been set into motion. This year, our fundraising efforts will mostly benefit technology upgrades to our school due to the overwhelming response of wanting laptops for our children to work on. We currently need about 250 laptops to bring our school to a 1:1 child/laptop ratio with technology. We will need to raise at least $120,000 to make this a reality. The cost of each computer is about $400, which have to be purchased through the district. Currently, BPS district allots $0 for computer upgrades to non-Title 1 schools and Roosevelt is not a Title 1 School. We are graciously reaching out for help again. We have two major fundraisers set for the 2018-2019 school year: a silent auction with a BINGO night hosted by Kiwanis Club and a Raize Craze kindness fundraiser.   • BINGO night/Silent Auction at the Cocoa Beach Country Club on 11/9/18, hosted by the Kiwanis Club

  • Raise Craze in April 2019
